Karen Hourie Ellefson grew up near High Bluff on “The Farm of the Century”, the oldest family owned farm in Manitoba. She is a proud member of the Métis Nation of Alberta, Region 3, and a strong advocate for Indigenous ways of knowledge and learning. Karen lives near Calgary, Alberta.
